Our Goats

Pricing: Our bucks will range in price from $40 to $200; wethers from $50 to $120; our does from $75 to $300. These prices apply to all breeds of goats.

My goats are dewormed at least every 2-3 months on a rotation schedule and have their feet trimmed regularly. All are healthy, happy animals and must go to good homes.

*I can do package deals*

A 10% deposit will hold the kid of your choice until it is weaned or the goat of your choice for a maximum of 2 weeks before you need to pick them up unless otherwise arranged.

**If you are wanting a buckling, please contact me ahead of time because I castrate at 1-3 weeks of age. I can put you on a waiting list for specific bucklings-certain colors or out of certain parents. This way I won't have castrated something you would have wanted for breeding. I can also put you on a waiting list for certain colored doelings or doelings out of certain parents.**

***I do not typically dehorn but can have your choice of kid dehorned for approximately $10, please tell me asap because the sooner they are dehorned, the easier it is on the kid. I will not dehorn one until you have put a deposit on him/her and paid the dehorning fee.***

We are always expanding our herd so check back with us periodically to see what we've got. I add them to this page as I get them or as they are born. There is no particular order...sorry, to those looking for a specific breed, you'll just have to wade through all of them! :)

Eeyore--Nigerian Dwarf

Sugar had a beautiful piebald caramel buckling on September 27, 2008 in the morning. His name is Eeyore (and why not, with those ears!). He is a very strong, healthy guy. He is very handsome and would be a great breeding buck or wethered, would be a good pet. Pictures were taken minutes after birth so he's still wet with floppy ears. Will get more pictures as he matures.

Dove and Jay--Nigerian Dwarf

Nellie finally popped! September 26, 2008 around 8:00 pm, Nellie had a very nice set of twins. One beautiful doeling "Dove" (as in chocolate) with her momma's color and one handsome buckling "Jay" in a lighter tan coat. He isn't a caramel because he doesn't have a dorsal stripe and he's more of a dark tint. Both are very nice babies, Nellie did a good job with her first kidding. She is a wonderful mother. Nellie is doing a great job raising them. These two kids are built great and have beautiful color. Both are friendly, the doeling even sucked on my finger a few times while I pet her. They should be great pets or breeders. Pictures taken the morning after they were born at less than 12 hours old.

The buckling is FOR SALE at this time for $100. Price may rise as he matures. He would make a great herd sire. Or wethered, a beautiful pet.

Isaac--Nigerian Dwarf

Isaac was born summer of 08. He is a Nigerian Dwarf buckling. He has a beautiful silver coat and a star. He is a very nice looking kid and would be a great breeding billy, or he would make a great pet! He has been handled since he was born. He is weaned and is a good browser. FOR SALE $100

Louie--Nigerian Dwarf

Louie is a beautiful 2007 Nigerian Dwarf buck. He is extremely friendly and broke to lead by collar. Very sweet boy. :) We are looking forward to getting some kids out of him next year. He is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR BREEDING.

Rosie and Punkin--Nigerian Dwarf

Rosie and Punkin were born 8-17-08 in the morning to our beautiful doe, Sally. They are twin doelings, both caramel piebalds. Both are gorgeous doelings and at this time, I am going to hang on to both of them. They should be wonderful milkers and great moms. Pictures taken the day they were born. Rosie is the one with the pink nose and Punkin has a dark nose. Rosie and Punkin have been disbudded.

Calico--Nubian

Calico is a beautiful purebred 2005 Nubian. She is milk stand trained, milks an average of 1.5 gallons per day. She is a big girl! She is a little shy with strangers but warms up when she gets to know you. This is one really nice doe!

Belle--Alpine

Check out this Beauty! She's an April 2008 doeling. Belle is out of a good, heavy milker and the same Alpine buck as Kit Kat and Snickers. She has great build and color and is a friendly sweetheart. She will be a great milker!

Frankie and Deano--Nigerian Dwarf

Halo, one of our blue-eyed does had twin bucklings July 15, 2008. Both are dark gray agoutis, one has blue eyes, the other has brown. Both have stars; the blue-eyed also has white on his feet, his name is Frank Sinatra "Frankie"; the other is Dean "Deano". They are TINY, TINY!! Will not be very big at all! SO cute too! They are being bottle fed so will make great pets or use them as breeding bucks. Use the blue eyed buck and make beautiful blue eyed babies! They can go anytime if you want to raise them yourself on the bottle. They can wean anywhere from 8-12 weeks off the bottle.

Both Frankie and Deano are SOLD! I have kept breeding rights to Frankie though so will be having offspring of his in the future!

Iris, Lily, and Hawk--Nubians

I have 3 new bottle babies...Nubians! And they will be registered with ADGA. 2 girls and a boy. Look at that color!! The girls are black/tan/white and the boy is spotted. The first picture is Iris, she has a dark nose. The next is Lily, her nose is pink. The boy is Night Hawk, or just Hawk. They are all three very sweet and loving. The girls are sisters and part of quads. Mother gives about a gallon per day and has a great udder. The boy is out of another great milk producer and a part of twins! Wow! Talk about good lines! NOT FOR SALE

Sable--Toggenburg

Sable is an April 2008 Toggenburg doe. She was a bottle kid and would still drink milk given the opportunity but she is weaned. (The first picture shows Sable in front and her buddy, Betty, beside her).

Sable is very sweet and people friendly. She is going to be a wonderful milker.

Orphan Annie--Nigerian Dwarf

Annie was born June 27th in the morning. Our blue-eyed goat, Sky, is her mother but Sky didn't like Annie for some reason so Annie is being bottle fed. She is a beautiful little medium gray agouti piebald doeling. What a doll! Heidi is taking really good care of her.

Frodo and Samwise--Nigerian Dwarf

Cinnamon had beautiful twin boys on June 14, 2008. They are Buck's first babies and they are very handsome! One is a medium caramel, gorgeous! I can't express how beautiful this guy is! His name is Samwise "Sam". The other is a true black with random white markings. His name is Frodo. Both are short and very stout, like their dad. With the genetics behind them, they would both be great herd sires for Nigerians. The caramel especially has herd sire written all over him. I will castrate them though if they're not spoken for soon, so hurry if you want a buckling! The pics below were taken minutes after their birth.

Donald and Daisy--Nigerian Dwarf

Our Nigerian Dwarf, Dixie had twins June 11, 2008 around 9:00 in the morning. (Picture to the left is at 3 days old...doeling "Daisy" standing, buckling "Donald" laying down.) This is her first time kidding and she had twins! What a doe! And boy, are they cute! Bandit is the father and both are white caramels, identical to him. One boy and one girl. So cute and tiny! Way to go Dixie!
Dixie has a huge bag and is out of my best Dwarf milker and should make a great milker herself...we'll see. :) Bandit is out of my other great Dwarf milker and so Daisy has all the makings for a great momma and milker and Donald for a great herd sire.
However, if you want the boy intact, please contact me quickly, he will be castrated at 2 weeks of age.
The first picture here (laying down) is the doeling, 2nd is the buckling. They are only hours old.
UPDATE: Donald is now a wether and would make a great pet! He is SO friendly!

Buckwheat and Daisy Mae--Nigerian Dwarf

Fauna had beautiful twins the afternoon of June 1, 2008. One solid white doeling (Daisy Mae) and a beautiful caramel piebald buckling (Buckwheat). They are tiny!! Fauna is my best Dwarf milker and the sire is out of another of my best Dwarf milkers so Daisy Mae will probably be a great milker and Buckwheat would be a great herd sire for milkers! They would also make great pets! Both are very strong and healthy. Pictures were taken the morning after they were born. ~Buckwheat is SOLD~

I am keeping Daisy Mae.

Tink--Oberhasli cross

Tink is a 2007 Oberhasli/Boer cross, she is a beautiful cream and white piebald and is the sweetest thing! She freshened in February, is milk stand trained (loves the milk stand), and is a good milker. Being milked once daily, she was giving about 1.5 liters per day. Her mother is a very heavy milker, giving well over a gallon a day so I have high hopes for Tink. She was wormy when I bought her and is too thin right now but she has been wormed and getting fed good quality alfalfa mix hay so she will be looking better soon. I have dried her off just recently and she has been exposed to my Boer buck for a fall freshening. This is going to be a very nice doe! Above picture was taken July 08. Below were taken while still in winter coat.

Angel and Amber--Saanen cross

Meet Angel and Amber, Saanen cross does. They are both 07 does. Angel is cream and white piebald with blue eyes! Amber is solid white with amber colored eyes. They were pretty skinny when I bought them but gaining weight out in the pasture. They have now been exposed to my bucks so hopefully I will have them milking soon. They were bottle kids so are very sweet and love people, especially Angel. She will about crawl in your lap if you let her! Angel is pictured first, then Amber. Rest of the pictures are in winter coats when I got them.

I got a group of goats all the way from Kansas. They are very nice goats. I was really excited because 2 of them are Nubians so I can add to my dairy herd, the Nigerian Dwarf is absolutely stunning, and I got my first Boer, a very nice black and white buck. I will stand him to the public as well as using him here.

1. "Nelly" Black/Tan Nigerian Dwarf doe with small star, born spring of 2007, bred to Boer. A little skittish but wants to be friendly.

2. "Muffin" Black headed Boer with blaze, very nicely built Boer buck. Born September of 2007. Very sweet and friendly. ~SOLD~

3. "Ninja" 2006 Red Nubian doe with small white spot on side, pretty friendly. Bred to Boer, due this fall. SOLD $150

Dumbledore "Dorey"--Nubian/Alpine

Meet Dorey (short for Dumbledore) he is a bottle kid born on Sunday, April 20 2008. He is 50% Nubian and 50% Alpine. What a doll! He is currently being raised in the house but eventually will be used as a breeding buck for our "big does" and probably as a cart goat! He is the friendliest little guy and has a great personality. We got him because his mother didn't want him and his owner already had 6 bottle kids and not enough milk! Lucky us!! Pics taken inside are the day we brought him home (4-25-08)...the outside pics were taken 4-30-08. What a cutie!!

*UPDATE: Dorey has been disbudded and wethered. He is also weaned and looking great! Since we got our full-blooded Nubian bucklings, we decided to wether Dorey and have him as pet and cart goat! :) NOT FOR SALE

Snickers and Kit Kat--Nubian/Alpine

Look at these cuties! Pictures taken at just hours old, they were born on April 9, 08. Star, my Alpine/Nubian doe is their mother, their sire is a full Alpine so they are 75% Alpine, 25% Nubian. Both should be great milkers and mothers. Star makes a great big bag and is a wonderful mother. One is a tan cou clair with a star and the other is a black cou blanc, like my other set of twins born April 4. Both have great personalities already, within hours of birth they were following me around their pen. What dolls! I am keeping both the tan cou clair ("Snickers") and the black cou blanc ("Kit Kat") of this set. *If you are looking for a doeling, check out the doeling born April 4th. What a doll!*

Blue Eyed Nigerian Dwarfs!!

I have added 3 new Nigerian Dwarfs which I am really excited about! I have a dark gray agouti doeling with a star, white splash on belly, and blue eyes named Sky, a silver doeling with blue eyes named Halo, and a tiny brown agouti buckling with a broken white belly band and blue eyes named Hershey. They are all very gorgeous and I can't wait to start expanding into having some blue eyed babies!!! Check out those eyes!!!!!

Sky has kidded already (see Annie at the top) and Halo is due any day!

*Hershey is available to outside does for breeding at a very affordable fee.*

FACTS ABOUT BLUE EYED NIGERIANS

Blue eyes are not related to the goat's hair coat color.

Goats can be of any color or pattern.

Blue eyes are not related to albinos.

Blue eyed goats do not have any problems such as being sterile.

Blue eyed goats will produce blue eyed goats.

Most blue eyed bucks have 50% - 75% blue eyed kids when bred to does with brown eyes. Blue eyed does have about the same...half of their kids have blue eyes when bred to a brown eyed buck.

Two blue eyed goats bred to each other will produce 100% blue eyed kids.

Ginger--Nigerian Dwarf

Sally had twin doelings November 7, 2007 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Their sire is Brumley, he can be seen below. One doeling is black and the other is dark caramel, both show the schwartzal pattern of their sire and both are very pretty little things. They are Nigerian Dwarfs. They should be good milkers/mamas and/or pets. First picture is Ginger at 8 months old. Second picture is Ginger in December. Their names are Gingersnap and Double-stuffed Oreo (Ginger and Oreo for short. If you look at Oreo's face straight on, she looks just like a double-stuffed oreo!)UPDATE: Oreo went to a new home in late February but I'm keeping Ginger to pass on the Schwartzel pattern in my herd in the future. She has been exposed to Hershey, our blue-eyed buck.

Mocha and Star---Alpine/Nubian

I have added a few "big" goats to our miniature herd. Meet Star and Mocha. Mocha is a gorgeous '05 Nubian/Alpine and Star a beautiful '03 Nubian/Alpine. They are all three very nice does. Mocha is the tan cou clair (tan and black) doe and Star is the mahogany (dark brown) doe with a star on her face.

UPDATE: Mocha and Star have both kidded...check out their twins at the top of the page!!
Mocha and Star are both broke to a milk stand and are great milkers.
Mocha gives about 4 quarts per day and Star gives 4-5 quarts per day. Both will raise their own kids and milk.

FOR SALE: Star is currently dried off and I would sell her to a good home. She is my favorite and best milker but I have a lot of young, up-and-coming does I need the room for, including Star's twin does from April. $300

Buck--Pygmy

Buck is an 06 light caramel Pygmy buck. He has beautiful color and great Pygmy conformation. He is a proven sire and we are excited to see what he'll produce for us. He has so far produced 94% caramels on all colors of does! He is a little athlete and a sweetheart. First two pictures taken July 2008.

Bandit--Nigerian Dwarf

Bandit is an 07 Nigerian Dwarf. (The picture to the right was at 3 weeks old...his more recent photos are below). This buck is nice! He makes gorgeous babies with lots of color and good conformation. His mother has a great udder with heavy milk production so he should pass on that in his doelings. His first doeling born was Daisy (see above) so we'll see! :) Bandit is a sweetheart. He doesn't act like a buck, he loves to be scratched and loved on. No head butting or fence testing. Very sweet!

We had sold Bandit but then we just had to buy this one back so he's back and ready to breed again this winter!

Dixie--Nigerian Dwarf

Dixie is an 07 model, light caramel with chocolate markings. She is a very pretty, typy doe and she is one of the friendliest goats on the place. She loves attention and will climb into your lap if you let her. Her mother is Fauna, who is listed below, Fauna is one of our best milkers so I have high hopes for Dixie. Dixie was bred to Bandit and had beautiful twins her first freshening and boy, is she a heavy milker! Just like her momma! You can see the twins, Donald and Daisy towards the top of the page. Sugar--Pygmy

Sugar is an 06 medium gray agouti Pygmy doe. She is a sweetheart and loves a good scratch. She gave us a beautiful buckling for her first kidding "Zorro", no kidding problems. She has great Pygmy conformation and is a heavy milker. She gave us another beautiful buckling this fall, see Sept. 27, 2008 kid above. Another easy, quick delivery. Great breeding doe!

Sally--Nigerian Dwarf

Sally is a gorgeous mahogany piebald 04 Nigerian Dwarf doe. She usually has twins and is a heavy milker. She has been hand milked and has an average daily yeild of .5 liters being milked once daily. She is bred to Hershey, our blue-eyed Nigerian Dwarf buck for late fall kids.

Sally gave me very nice twin doelings...you can see them at the top of the page. She is not for sale at this time.

Cinnamon--Nigerian Dwarf

Cinnamon is one of our really good does. She is an 06 model, a light caramel with chocolate markings Nigerian Dwarf. She has had twins and a single, all very gorgeous babies. She is a very small doe with great Dwarf conformation. Cinnamon has a great bag and gives good milk. She is a trained milker, very calm, and gives an average daily yeild of 1 1/2 cups being milked once a day. She was bred to Buck, our caramel buck who can be seen above, and had beautiful twins, Samwise and Frodo who can also be seen above. She will be exposed to Hershey, our blue-eyed buck, for spring kids. She is not for sale.

Fauna--Nigerian Dwarf

Fauna is one of our best Nigerian does. She is an 04 model, a beautiful white caramel Nigerian Dwarf with light tan markings and a partial dorsal stripe. She consistently kids nice twins, has a great bag and is a heavy milker. She has been hand milked and gives great milk, with an average daily yeild of .5 liters being milked once daily. She was exposed to Bandit, the white caramel Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy buck who can be viewed above, and had gorgeous kids, I mean gorgeous! They can be seen above...Daisy Mae and Buckwheat. She is now bred to Buck, our caramel buck. She is due in January. Fauna is not for sale.

Brumley--Nigerian Dwarf

Brumley is a 2006 Nigerian Dwarf white and black buck showing schwartzal coat pattern. He is a very flashy billy with great conformation and color. He is the sire of three very cute spring '07 triplet doelings, one black/white schwartzal, and two tan/white schwartzal. They are darling! He has also sired twin doelings both showing the schwartzal pattern, one in caramel and one black/white; and a little buck in the schwartzal pattern in caramel. All are very good looking goats! As you can see, Brumley passes on his schwartzal coat pattern to 100% of his kids so far and over 80% of them are does! Brumley is broke to lead by halter or collar. He is easy to catch and isn't a fence tester. He is playful and fun to watch. He gets along with horses, donkeys, cats, dogs, and other goats. He has some billy tendencies though, so probably wouldn't be a good pet. With his color, personality and nice Nigerian Dwarf conformation, Brumley would make a great breeding buck for anyone. First goats born on our place!

Fauna had twins May 17, 2007 right at noon. They are Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy crosses and absolutely precious!!! She had one boy and one girl. These pictures were taken when they were less than 1 hour old. In the pic to the right, the boy is on the left and the girl on the right. The boy already has a sale pending on him but we are keeping the girl for now. They both have wonderful personalities. They are curious, playful, and already enjoy humans. They will walk right up to you for a pat. They are SO CUTE!

Harry---our herd guardian

Harry is a gray dun, masked spotted, small standard jack born September of 2006. He is sweet, friendly, and very smart and a wonderful guardian for our goats. He is great at running off anything that comes within his sight that looks like a dog, coyote, or fox. He likes to be scratched and loves attention. Isn't he the cutest little thing?! He will be broke to ride and possibly to drive when he's old enough. He will also be kept intact and used for breeding. He is available to outside mares and jenneys so if interested in him as a stud, just let me know. We'll set something up. His special introductory stud fee for 2008 is $100 with free mare care (owner provides feed, otherwise $5/day).

Harry's Pedigree

Harry is registered with ADMS and is also eligible for registration with ACOSA but hasn't been registered with them yet.
